Safari is a 17 year old Saddlebred that we rescued.  She was kept as a broodmare and has had 2 foals.  We broke her to ride.  However, we still consider her to be green broke and not suitable for a beginner.  She rides under saddle and bareback.  She prefers a halter or hack.  She is sound.  Safari loves treats and attention!  She is blind in her right eye but has adapted very well.  She is a hard keeper and will need to be fed a quality grain, hay and have access to a stall and blankets during the winter.  She needs human interaction and will not be happy stuck out in a big field and left alone.  She would be an excellent pasture pet or companion.  She loads well, is good for the farrier, easy to vaccinate/medicate.
